Esparto, CA (February 18, 2025) – A motorcyclist tragically lost their life in a crash on Highway 16 near Parker Place in Yolo County on Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the accident occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. According to initial reports, a Chevrolet SUV was traveling on the highway when it was rear-ended by a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and attempted to provide aid, but the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
