Escambia County, FL (September 26, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred early Thursday morning, resulting in the death of a 58-year-old man from Pensacola. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the incident took place at approximately 1:25 a.m. on September 26, when the victim was riding his motorcycle southeast on U.S. 90, also known as Mobile Highway.
While attempting to turn onto State Road 295, referred to as N. New Warrington Road, the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle. The motorcycle veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. Emergency responders from Escambia EMS arrived at the scene but unfortunately pronounced the man deceased shortly after their arrival.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
