Escambia County, FL (November 13, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning claimed the life of a 66-year-old Pensacola man on State Road 10 (Mobile Highway), east of Ruby’s Fish Camp Road. The crash occurred around 1 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
Authorities reported that a 20-year-old man from Fairhope was driving westbound on Mobile Highway when his vehicle crossed the center line. This resulted in a head-on collision with the Pensacola man’s eastbound SUV. The impact caused severe damage to both vehicles, and the Pensacola man was pronounced dead at the scene.
