Errol, NH (September 7, 2024) – Two truck drivers were injured, one critically, after a head-on collision involving a moose early Friday morning, September 6 on Route 16. The crash occurred around 6:40 a.m., about a mile north of Androscoggin Wayside Park, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Justin Hallee, 38, of Milan, NH, struck a moose while driving north, causing him to lose control and collide head-on with another truck. The second vehicle was driven by Jacob Gleason, 22, of Colebrook, NH.
Gleason sustained minor injuries and was cleared at the scene, while Hallee was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
