Elyria, OH (December 18, 2024) – Three individuals sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 near the westbound entrance from State Route 57. The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on December 16, according to a statement from Elyria Fire Department Chief Joseph D. Pronesti.
Elyria firefighters responded to the scene, where they found two vehicles with extensive damage and several individuals trapped inside. Emergency crews worked quickly to extricate three victims from the wreckage, completing the operation within 20 minutes. The injured parties were transported to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
