Elk River, MN (February 7, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on eastbound Highway 10 at northbound Highway 101 in Elk River resulted in one person sustaining non-life-threatening injuries on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:32 p.m. when a 2017 Mercedes GLA, driven by 35-year-old Charlotte Jallow Ndow of Ramsey, MN, lost control while traveling westbound on Highway 10. The vehicle crossed the median near Highway 101 and collided with an eastbound 2014 Dodge Ram driven by 23-year-old Zachary Louis Entsminger of Anoka, MN.
Emergency responders from Elk River Fire, Police, and Ambulance services arrived promptly to assist at the scene. The driver of the Mercedes, Charlotte Ndow, was transported to Mercy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Her vehicle’s airbags were deployed, and she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The driver of the Dodge Ram, Zachary Entsminger, was uninjured and did not require medical attention. Both drivers were confirmed to be sober at the time of the collision.
Authorities noted that road conditions were hazardous due to snow and ice, which likely contributed to the accident. The investigation remains ongoing, but no further injuries were reported.
