Effingham, IL (October 2, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred in Effingham, resulting in the death of a Teutopolis man. According to the Effingham Police Department, the incident took place around 12:24 p.m. on September 30 at the intersection of Keller Drive and Midtowne Boulevard.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 27-year-old Dale T. Davis of Teutopolis, was pronounced dead following the accident. The collision involved a motorcycle and a car, and the driver of the vehicle, 37-year-old Pyo J. Namkus from New Providence, New Jersey, was cited for failure to yield.
