Head-on Collisions in Texas
Head-on collisions are among the most severe types of crashes, often leading to serious injuries or fatalities. When a vehicle crosses into an opposing lane, drivers have little time to react, making these accidents particularly devastating.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, hundreds of fatal head-on crashes occur across the state each year, often caused by driver fatigue, distractions, or losing control of the vehicle. Roads like FM 2812 can be especially dangerous at night due to reduced visibility and the potential for driver miscalculations.
For those involved in a serious accident, seeking immediate medical attention, gathering evidence, and reporting the crash to authorities are crucial steps. Victims injured due to another driver’s negligence may have legal options to pursue compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages.
