Easton, MD (February 26, 2025) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning on westbound Route 50 near Glen Ridge Road in Talbot County, according to local authorities.
Emergency crews, including police, fire, and EMS, were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:25 a.m. Responding medical personnel were informed that CPR was in progress, but despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed westbound Route 50 for several hours to investigate the incident. As of 8:15 a.m., the roadway remained closed, with officials advising drivers to seek alternate routes.
