Dunklin, MO (October 30, 2024) – A serious motorcycle accident occurred on Tuesday evening at approximately 5:12 p.m. on Highway 53, one mile south of Campbell. The incident prompted a response from local authorities, including TPR J. M. Tomaszewski, who investigated the crash.
Preliminary reports indicate that the accident involved a 2004 Honda Shadow motorcycle, operated by 43-year-old Randy A. Lawrence from Gideon, MO, and a 2009 Cadillac DTS driven by 82-year-old Charlotte A. Davis from Campbell, MO. The motorcycle sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by a private party, while the Cadillac sustained minor damage and was driven away from the scene.
According to the investigation, the crash occurred when the Cadillac was turning, and the motorcycle was attempting to pass it. This resulted in a collision that left Lawrence with moderate injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for medical evaluation and treatment.
