Dundalk, MD (September 5, 2024) – Firefighters rescued an 8-year-old boy with life-threatening injuries after a house fire early Wednesday morning on Dunleer Rd. Baltimore County Fire Department responded around 3:44 a.m. and encountered heavy flames on the first floor of the home.
Crews were alerted that a child was still inside and quickly found the boy, who was rushed to the hospital. A man and four other children suffered minor injuries and were also taken to hospitals. Firefighters rescued nine cats and two dogs from the blaze.
The fire displaced seven residents, and the cause remains under investigation. Authorities are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
