Dubuque County, IA (December 08, 2024) – One person has died, and three others have been injured following a single-vehicle rollover crash early Saturday morning on Highway 20 near Hartbecke Rd in Dubuque County. According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, deputies, along with the Peosta Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, Epworth Fire Department, and Farley Fire Department, responded to the scene at approximately 12:05 AM.
Initial investigations suggest that the vehicle was traveling westbound when it lost control and rolled. Tragically, a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two other passengers were transported to nearby hospitals, with one suffering serious injuries and the other sustaining less severe injuries. The identity of the deceased passenger is being withheld at this time, pending notification of the family.
