Draper, UT (September 16, 2024) – A mother and her infant are in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 Sunday evening. On September 15, a car carrying two adults and two children spun out on the wet road and struck a wall. This initial accident led to three additional vehicles becoming involved.
According to FOX 13, two cars—a Mustang and a van—collided while trying to avoid the initial crash. A motorcyclist also crashed while attempting to evade the collision. The Utah Highway Patrol reported that seven people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The mother and her 16-month-old infant were critically injured, possibly due to improper restraint, as noted by KUTV.
