Dothan, AL (October 23, 2024) – A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday evening when a 64-year-old man was struck and killed by a train. The victim has been identified as Scottie Earl Jones. Police were alerted just before 8 p.m. to a report of a person down on the railroad tracks located on North Range Street near the East Main Street overpass.
