Doniphan County, KS (December 26, 2024) – A tragic two-vehicle collision occurred on Christmas morning, leaving one individual dead and two others injured. The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) reported that the crash happened at approximately 8:41 a.m. on Kansas Highway 7.
Initial investigations revealed that a vehicle traveling north on Kansas Highway 7 crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle head-on. The impact resulted in severe damage to both vehicles and left the roadway closed for several hours. Emergency responders arrived promptly, providing care to the injured victims and assessing the scene. Sadly, one person succumbed to their injuries, while the others were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a variety of injuries.
