Dickinson, NY (September 10, 2024) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday evening. At the intersection of Front St and Bevier St, according to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., prompting authorities to shut down the intersection from Front St north of Prospect St to the traffic circle at the I-81 North on-ramp.

The road remained closed until around midnight Tuesday. The identity of the victim has not been released.
