Delhi, CA (March 5, 2025) – A 75-year-old woman lost her life after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Shanks Road and Mediterranean Avenue on Monday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the fatal crash occurred around 1:45 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and attempted to provide aid, but the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her identity pending notification of her family. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
