Delano, MN (November 18, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 12 and 13th Street Saturday afternoon, leaving three individuals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.

The crash was reported at approximately 1:46 PM and involved a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2013 Dodge Dart. The Jeep, driven by 66-year-old Wylie Eugene Swanger of Delano, was traveling eastbound on Highway 12. The Dodge, driven by 52-year-old Nadia Lyssa Tipka of Roseville, was westbound when the vehicles collided.

A passenger in the Dodge, 47-year-old Ela Wardani, also of Roseville, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. All individuals involved were reported to have been wearing seat belts, and no alcohol involvement was detected. Airbags deployed in the Dodge Dart, while the Jeep Grand Cherokee’s airbags did not deploy.

Emergency responders, including the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Delano Fire Department, and Ridgeview Ambulance, arrived at the scene to provide assistance. None of the injured were transported to a healthcare facility.

The road conditions at the time were reported as dry. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
