Dayton, OH (February 20, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Wagner Ford Rd early Thursday morning resulted in injuries and required an emergency response.
According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center, the accident occurred just before 8 a.m. when the driver of a Honda Accord lost control, veered over the center line, and was struck on the passenger side by a Lexus RS 350.
A passenger inside the Lexus was trapped and had to be extracted by emergency crews before being transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officials later confirmed that the individual was in stable condition. The drivers of both vehicles were also hospitalized and are reported to be in stable condition.
Wagner Ford Rd was temporarily closed between Webster St and the Hollywood Gaming Raceway and Casino as authorities investigated the crash. Icy road conditions are being considered a possible factor.
