Daviess County, MO (February 15, 2025) – A head-on collision occurred on MO-6, two miles east of Jamesport, on Friday evening, leaving two drivers seriously injured. At 6:53 p.m., a 2013 GMC Sierra traveling eastbound crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2009 Ford Focus head-on.
The driver of the Ford Focus, a 62-year-old male from Trenton, MO, was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries. He was transported by Community Ambulance District to Liberty Hospital. The driver of the GMC Sierra, a 69-year-old male from Trenton, MO, was wearing a seatbelt and sustained serious injuries. He was taken to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City by Grundy County EMS.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed by Bridgeman’s Towing. Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers and emergency responders assisted at the crash site.
