Darke County, OH (March 3, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash in Darke County on Sunday morning resulted in injuries, prompting a response from local emergency crews.
Darke County deputies, Greenville Township Fire & Rescue, and the City of Greenville Fire Department responded to the scene at the intersection of State Route 571 and McMecham Road at approximately 9:49 a.m.
According to officials, a gray Chevy Tahoe, driven by a 39-year-old Tipp City resident, was traveling northwest on State Route 571 when it slowed to turn right onto McMecham Road. A Ford Flex, driven by an 18-year-old from Arcanum, failed to stop in time and rear-ended the Tahoe.
Emergency responders evaluated the 18-year-old driver at the scene before transporting them to Wayne HealthCare as a precautionary measure for minor injuries. No further details regarding additional injuries or damages have been released.
