Residential Fires and Safety Measures
Residential fires remain a leading cause of fatalities and injuries, often resulting in devastating personal and property losses. Fires like the one on Westover Drive highlight the importance of fire prevention measures, such as installing and regularly testing smoke alarms, maintaining fire extinguishers, and creating a family evacuation plan.
Firefighters and emergency responders play a critical role in mitigating the impact of such incidents, but preventing fires in the first place is crucial for ensuring safety.
