Danbury, CT (February 24, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident in Danbury has claimed the life of a local woman after she was struck by a vehicle on Saturday night.
According to the Danbury Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Newtown Road and Eagle Road around 6:42 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a person lying in the roadway with severe, life-threatening injuries.
The victim, identified as 37-year-old Diana Malla of Danbury, was rushed to the Danbury Hospital Emergency Room for treatment. Sadly, police confirmed that she succumbed to her injuries on Sunday.
