Dallas, TX (September 26, 2024) – A house fire on Wednesday evening resulted in injuries to two individuals, as reported by Dallas Fire Rescue (DFR). Emergency crews responded to the fire at approximately 5:35 p.m. at 6933 Tillman Street, located about one mile south of the Grover C. Keeton Golf Course.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke emanating from the garage of the residence. After confirming that two people were trapped inside, DFR quickly initiated a search and rescue operation. The firefighters acted swiftly to extinguish the flames, successfully declaring the fire “out” at 6:05 p.m.
The two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, and their current status remains unknown. DFR officials believe the fire originated in the garage; however, the exact cause is still under investigation.
