Cumberland, MD (September 7, 2024) – An auto accident involving a vehicle crashing into a telephone pole on Bourden Rd led to reported injuries. Maryland State Police were the first to arrive on the scene, confirming that the vehicle had struck a pole, which broke upon impact on Saturday afternoon, September 7.

Rescue units RE15, E16-2, and M513 were dispatched to the site of the accident. Emergency medical personnel treated the injured at the scene. Crews worked to manage the downed power lines and poles on the road.
