Cuba, MO – Serious Bicycle Crash on HWY ZZ Injures Local Man

Cuba, MO (September 1, 2024) – Corey Abrams, 39, from Cuba, was seriously injured in a bicycle collision on Thursday, August 29. The incident took place around 11 p.m. on westbound HWY ZZ.

A vehicle struck the front tire of Abrams’ Huffy Santa Fe Motorized Bicycle, causing him to crash. The driver involved fled the scene immediately after the collision, failing to assist the injured bicyclist.

Abrams was urgently transported to Mercy St. Louis with serious injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the hit-and-run incident. Further updates will be provided as more details become available.
