Cross City, FL (September 4, 2024) – A woman has died following a collision involving a pickup truck and a semi Tuesday, September 3, on US-19 in Dixie County. The crash occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m. when a semi collided with the pickup truck.

The female passenger from Cross City was transported to UF Health Shands, where she later died. The 77-year-old man driving the pickup sustained serious injuries, while the semi-driver was unharmed.
