Concord, NH – Teen Seriously Injured in Bicycle Accident on Kelly St

Concord, NH (September 3, 2024) – A teenager sustained serious injuries after a collision on Kelly St on Tuesday, September 3. The incident occurred when a silver VW heading east struck the teen on a bike. The impact threw the teenager into the path of a westbound black car, which dragged and trapped the boy underneath. 

Emergency responders, including MPD officers, MFD Rescue 1, Engine 6, and AMR, used the Jaws of Life and inflatable bags to free the boy. He was then airlifted to Lebanon DHMC. The elderly driver of the black car was also transported for precautionary reasons. 

The investigation is ongoing, and the MPD Accident Reconstruction Team is at the scene.
