Concord, NH (November 17, 2024) – Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a crash with injury on Route 106 in Concord just after 11:45 AM on Sunday. The accident occurred on Sheep Davis Road, near the entrance to the Steeplegate Mall grounds by TD Bank and D’Amante Drive, involving a Chevrolet pickup truck and a Toyota Yaris.
Upon arrival, officers reported that the driver of the Toyota, a woman in her mid-80s, was entrapped inside the vehicle. Though she was alert and communicating with first responders, the severity of her injuries required immediate extraction. Firefighters from Concord Fire and Rescue were called to the scene to assist in freeing the driver, using specialized tools to carefully remove her from the wreckage.
The woman was then transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The exact nature of her injuries is still being determined, but emergency personnel worked quickly to stabilize her.
