Columbus, OH (October 16, 2024) – A high-speed chase involving a stolen vehicle culminated in a crash early Wednesday morning, leading to the apprehension of three teenagers. The incident unfolded around 3:45 a.m. when officers attempted to stop a silver Kia Optima near Bonnie Court and Demorest Road. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and fled the area, prompting a pursuit.
A few minutes later, officers discovered the Kia had crashed into a tree in the yard of a residence on the 3200 block of Briggs Road. Authorities reported that the vehicle exhibited signs of being stolen, confirming the suspicions of law enforcement.
