Columbia, SC (December 10, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision on St. Andrews Road near Leisure Lane claimed one life and left two others hospitalized Monday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 8:45 PM in Lexington County, near Seven Oaks Park and about 2 miles from Exit 106 on Interstate 26.
Authorities reported that a 2017 Toyota Prius traveling west collided with a 2007 Toyota Camry heading east. A passenger in the Camry was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not yet been identified by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
Both drivers were transported to Prisma Health Richland Hospital for treatment. Their current conditions have not been disclosed, and no other injuries were reported in the crash.
