The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) reported the incident on social media, requesting drivers to avoid the area as they worked to rescue individuals trapped in the wreckage.
The crash, which occurred just east of Murray Boulevard and Galley Road, required specialized rescue efforts. By shortly after 9 p.m., emergency responders successfully extricated the trapped person or persons from the vehicle.
