Colerain Twp, OH (January 15, 2025) – A rollover crash on I-275 westbound at the I-74 split near Ronald Reagan Highway early Wednesday morning left two people hospitalized, one of whom later succumbed to their injuries. The crash occurred around 3:40 AM, causing significant disruptions in the area.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and transported both individuals involved in the crash to UC Medical Center with critical injuries. Tragically, one of the victims, 33-year-old Robert D’Anthony Simmons, was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The condition of the other individual has not been updated.
According to police, the vehicle rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop. Authorities believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash. The incident temporarily closed all lanes of I-275 westbound, which have since been reopened.
