Cole County, MO (September 19, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday, September 18, at 7:51 a.m. on US 63 near Renz Farm Rd. Four vehicles were involved when a Freightliner, driven by William Kehler, 72. Failed to stop and struck the rear of a 2014 Honda Civic, causing a chain reaction.

Two drivers, Elleigh Wood, 19, and Leslie Turek, 55, sustained serious injuries and were transported to University Hospital. Another driver, Juan Beltran Briceno, 19, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Capital Region Hospital.
