Coeur d’Alene, ID (November 9, 2024) – One person was killed, and another was critically injured Friday morning after a vehicle crashed into a tree near Fourth Street and Dalton Avenue, between Coeur d’Alene High School and Dalton Gardens.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), deputies responded to the crash after receiving reports of a car colliding with a tree and the driver being unconscious. Despite medical units’ efforts to revive the driver with CPR, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger sustained critical but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
