Clover, SC (January 12, 2025) – A three-vehicle collision in York County claimed the life of one individual, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The crash occurred on Saturday around 11:30 a.m. along Highway 557 near Charlotte Highway.
Authorities report that a Datsun sedan was attempting to turn south into a private drive from Highway 557 when it was struck by a Buick. The impact caused the sedan to collide with a Toyota SUV.
While no occupants of the Buick or Toyota vehicles sustained injuries, a passenger in the Datsun was transported to a hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The identities of those involved have not been released. The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
