Cleveland Co., AR (September 11, 2024) – Ulyess Chandler Jr., 65, of Pine Bluff, died after being struck by a vehicle on Monday. Chandler, a construction worker, was flagging traffic on the Saline River Bridge when a 1999 Chevy Silverado hit him in the southbound lane of US Hwy 79 at 3:05 p.m.
Chandler was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Dallas County Morgue. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
