Cincinnati, OH (March 5, 2025) – A motorcycle crash in Westwood early Wednesday morning left a woman dead and the driver injured, according to Cincinnati Police.
The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Westwood Northern Boulevard near McHenry Avenue. Authorities say a 24-year-old man was operating a motorcycle with a passenger, 30-year-old Catherine Duffy, when he lost control. The motorcycle struck a curb, ejecting both riders.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, but tragically, Duffy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. Police confirmed that both individuals were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
