Choctaw County, AL (October 26, 2024) – A tragic two-vehicle accident occurred on Thursday morning, October 24 on Singley Road, approximately two miles south of Silas. The collision, which took place at around 7:15 a.m., involved a 2017 Toyota Camry and a 2006 International tractor-trailer.
Patricia K. Lewis, a 77-year-old resident of Silas, was a passenger in the Toyota and suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the Toyota, Dean S. Lewis, aged 80, also from Silas, sustained injuries and was transported to Washington County Hospital in Chatom for medical treatment.
