Chicago, IL (November 11, 2024) – A two-car crash early Sunday morning on Chicago’s North Side left six people injured. The collision occurred around 12:50 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Ashland Avenue, according to police reports.
A 21-year-old woman driving a white sedan northbound struck a southbound silver sedan driven by a 41-year-old man.
The 21-year-old driver of the white sedan was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with head cuts and a leg injury. A 23-year-old female passenger in the white sedan sustained a fracture and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. A third passenger in the white sedan declined medical treatment.
In the silver sedan: The 41-year-old driver sustained injuries but refused medical treatment. A 44-year-old female passenger in the back seat was critically injured and transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. A 35-year-old male passenger was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
