Chesapeake, VA (December 14, 2024) – A working residential fire broke out at 320 Ballahack Rd in Chesapeake on Thursday, leaving one person injured. Engine 7 arrived at the scene to find heavy fire showing from the roof of a residence with extension to a nearby trailer.
Fire crews established a 2,200-foot supply line to bring water to the scene and began aggressive firefighting efforts. Command confirmed that a primary search of the structure was negative for additional victims. One individual sustained burns to their hands and was treated on-site by medics. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
