Charlotte, NC (January 14, 2025) – A crash on I-485 Outer in north Charlotte caused significant delays during the Tuesday morning rush hour. According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), the incident occurred just before 7:30 a.m., approximately 2 miles past exit 26 for Benfield Rd.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to assist those involved. Authorities have confirmed that at least two individuals sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to Novant Health Huntersville for treatment. The identities and current conditions of the injured individuals have not yet been disclosed.
