Center Twp., PA (February 17, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a serious head-on collision involving two vehicles on North Main Street Extension at Pine Drive early Sunday morning.
The crash was reported at approximately 5:02 a.m., prompting Center Township emergency responders from Stations 14 and 99 to rush to the scene. Initial reports indicated possible entrapment, leading to the request for additional rescue resources. However, upon arrival, firefighters confirmed there was no entrapment, and Station 3 was placed on standby before being released from the call.
Due to the severity of the crash, a second ambulance was requested at 5:12 a.m., with Medic 956 arriving at 5:18 a.m. and additional emergency personnel assisting at the site. At least one individual sustained injuries requiring advanced life support (ALS) transport to Butler Memorial Hospital at 5:39 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the victims’ conditions or the circumstances leading up to the crash. The scene was cleared by 6:01 a.m., and an investigation is ongoing.
