Cass, MO – Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident at MO-291 and E Hubach Hill Rd

Cass, MO (September 7, 2024) – A collision at MO-291 and E Hubach Hill Rd left two drivers injured on Friday evening, September 6. Megan D. Fry, 36, and Leslie A. Cockrum, 45, were involved in the crash, both receiving medical treatment for their injuries. Fry sustained minor injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, while Cockrum suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Belton Regional Medical Center.

The accident occurred when Fry, driving a 2020 RAM 1500, failed to yield while crossing MO-291, causing her vehicle to be struck on the left side by Cockrum’s northbound 2017 Mazda CX5. Both vehicles were heavily damaged in the collision.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
