Cass Lake, MN – Collision at HWY 2 & Aspen Ave Leads to Injuries

Cass Lake, MN (September 19, 2024) – A collision between a Nissan Pathfinder and a Chevy Impala occurred Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 2 and Aspen Avenue. The crash happened around 2:50 PM when the Nissan, traveling southbound, was struck by the westbound Chevy. All four individuals involved sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Samantha Jo Bowstring, 37, and her passengers, Beatrice Ann Dunn, 67, and David Gene Fairbanks, 81, were treated at Cass County Hospital. Nishiime Bineshii Peltier, 42, the driver of the Nissan, was also transported for evaluation. Authorities from multiple agencies are investigating the incident.
