Cass County, MO (February 24, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route A and East Pine Street left one person injured on Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:11 p.m. when a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 51-year-old man from Archie, MO, entered the intersection in front of a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a 39-year-old man from Raymore, MO. The Tahoe struck the Jetta, causing significant damage.
The Volkswagen Jetta was totaled and had to be towed by J’s Southland, while the Chevrolet Tahoe sustained moderate damage but was driven from the scene.
A 55-year-old female passenger in the Volkswagen sustained injuries and was treated at the scene. Both drivers and the injured occupant were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Authorities, including Trooper R. J. Hastings (586) and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, assisted at the scene.
