Carson, CA (February 19, 2025) – A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy was hospitalized following a collision at an intersection in Carson on Sunday night, according to authorities.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue and Dimondale Drive. Officials reported that the deputy was responding to a call for service when the patrol SUV was struck on the driver’s side by a civilian vehicle.
Fellow deputies transported the injured male deputy to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the civilian vehicle was not hurt.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
