Carmichael, CA (September 3, 2024) – A skateboarder was fatally struck by a Chevrolet Suburban Monday evening near the intersection of Fair Oaks Blvd and Marshall Ave. The accident occurred around 8 p.m. when both the SUV and the skateboarder, traveling westbound, collided.

The skateboarder, a man in his 20s, died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver of the Suburban, also a man in his 20s, was not injured.
