Cape Coral, FL (November 10, 2024) – A tragic accident claimed one life early Sunday morning when a minivan crashed into the rear of a fuel tanker trailer at the intersection of Cape Coral Parkway W and Chiquita Boulevard S.
Cape Coral Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the scene at approximately 1:15 a.m. Fire and EMS radio communications indicated that one individual was trapped inside the minivan. Despite rescue efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at 1:29 a.m. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
