Cajon Pass, CA (October 7, 2024) – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a collision that occurred on Saturday afternoon on Interstate 15. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the accident took place at approximately 12:09 p.m. on October 5, 2024, just before the Truck Escape Ramp on southbound I-15.
The incident involved a motorcyclist riding a black street/sport bike, possibly a Suzuki, and a black SUV. Preliminary reports indicate that the rider was ejected from the motorcycle during the collision. According to the CHP traffic log, the rider was found laying in the middle of the four traffic lanes. Fortunately, good Samaritans at the scene assisted in moving the rider to the shoulder of the freeway to ensure their safety.
